Sunflower Seed Screw Oil Press Machine

(1) Firstly, use cleaning equipment to remove impurities in sunflower seeds, common cleaning equipment includes magnetic separator, cleaning sieve and stone remover. Of course, the cleaning equipment needs to be selected according to the actual impurities contained in the sunflower seeds.

(2) Separate the kernel shells of sunflower seeds with a shelling machine, the sunflower seed shells will not only absorb part of the sunflower oil, resulting in the loss of oil, but also the pigment in the sunflower seed shells will be mixed into the oil, resulting in the dark color of the gross oil, so we recommend removing it.

(3)Adjust the temperature and humidity of sunflower seeds by using flaker and cooker to improve the production efficiency of sunflower oil.

(4) Use sunflower oil press to press sunflower oil from sunflower seeds, if you want to speed up the oil production, you can choose pre-pressing machine and press for secondary pressing to produce more sunflower oil.

The production of sunflower oil by solvent extraction method still needs cleaning equipment, shelling machine, embryo press, steam frying pot, etc. to process sunflower seeds, adjust the internal structure of sunflower seeds, improve the productivity of sunflower oil, only the oil extraction link to make changes.

Sunflower oil and sunflower seed cake can be obtained by using pre-pressing machine, and then the sunflower seed cake is transported to the solvent extraction workshop for solvent extraction of sunflower oil.

The solvent extraction workshop consists of four systems: sunflower oil extraction system, wet powder desolventization system, mixed oil treatment system and solvent recovery system. The workshop is fully automatic with high production efficiency and high oil yield. Most of the large-scale edible oil production plants use leaching method to produce sunflower oil.

In the process of edible oil production, a series of machine will be used, which can be roughly divided into three categories: pretreatment equipment, oil extraction equipment, oil refining equipment.

The oilseeds is pretreated with the purpose of removing all kinds of impurities, so that the oil seeds can reach a good condition, so that the subsequent oil press can extract more oil at a minimum cost and maximize the benefits. For example, the equipment often used are: cleaning machine, de-stoning machine, crusher, flaker, cooking and so on. We all know that different oil seeds have different structures and contain different impurities, so the equipment for pre-treatment will vary according to the oil you need to process. For example:

Sunflower seeds and peanuts are shelled, so a huller needs to be added to the pretreatment process, whereas soybeans and canola do not require a huller.

The single screw sunflower oil press machine is the most common in sunflower oil production plant. So I will take it as an example to explain how the single screw sunflower oil press machine works.

The single screw sunflower oil press machine has five part: hopper, gearbox, press, pressing screw and main body.

When working, start the single screw sunflower oil press machine first, and put the processed sunflower seeds into the presser from the hopper under running condition. The sunflower seeds continues to be pushed inward as the worm shaft rotates, while the sunflower oil flows out of the oil outlet.

The oil content of sunflower seeds is about 22%-36% in the whole seeds, 40%-50% in the kernels, and about 1%-2% in the shells, which has a high oil content and is a high-quality raw material for oil extraction. There are two main methods to process sunflower seeds in the factory to get sunflower oil, namely pressing and solvent extraction methods.
